Involv: a learning platform for patient groups

Where the story begins

Involv supports patient and disability organisations across the Netherlands with advice, training and strategic guidance. Its work is about stronger advocacy: making processes more professional and improving how patients, care professionals and policymakers work together. By combining knowledge with lived experience, Involv gives patients a stronger voice in healthcare.

For that mission, Involv needed a digital platform that fit their renewed identity and growing ambitions.

A new identity and a new platform, all at once

Involv was formerly PGOSupport. With the new name came a new visual identity and a new website. But it was about more than a fresh look. The site had to link to Coachview, the system Involv uses to manage courses and training, and move to the latest version of Symfony for better performance and security at the same time. Bringing all those demands together, without giving up ease of use, made the switch complex.

We built a new website that fully carries Involv's identity, with clear navigation for visitors and internal teams alike. Behind it, we connected Coachview, so managing courses and training runs more smoothly. And we upgraded the platform to the latest Symfony, for better performance and stronger security.

Behind the scenes, managing courses and training through Coachview runs much more efficiently, which eases the work for the internal teams. And on the new Symfony version, the platform runs faster, safer and ready for further growth.
