Founded in 2010, Alka® specializes in products that support the body’s acid base balance. Their mission is rooted in a simple belief: a healthy balance is essential for a vital life. To support this, Alka® offers unique product lines that can be easily combined and tailored to individual needs. As the organization grew, so did the complexity of its operations. To continue delivering quality, flexibility, and speed, Alka® needed a digital foundation that could keep pace with its ambitions.

The problem

Alka® relied on standard software such as Exact to run its business operations. While reliable, these systems offered limited flexibility and fell short when it came to full process automation. Key workflows, including order picking and the daily operations of representatives and resellers, were difficult to integrate into a single flow. Data lived across multiple systems, slowing down processes and creating unnecessary friction. The challenge was clear: bring everything together in one system without disrupting existing operations.

The solution

We developed a fully customized backoffice system tailored to Alka®’s specific way of working. Through smart API integrations, data from Exact and other systems is seamlessly combined and processed within one central platform. Sales, marketing, support, and representatives now have real time access to the data they need, anytime and anywhere. To further optimize order processing, we built dedicated software that allows the central system to directly control local printers, streamlining logistics and reducing manual handling.
