Where the Story Begins

Poolquip, part of Starline, has supplied pool products to professionals building and maintaining swimming pools across Europe for decades. Reliability and precision are what they're known for. To carry that quality online, Poolquip wanted a webshop that runs as dependably as the products themselves.

A webshop disconnected from the ERP system

Poolquip's old website stood apart from their ERP system. That meant the team had to maintain product data, prices and stock by hand. Every change in the ERP had to be copied separately into the webshop, and that took a lot of time each week. As Poolquip grew, that way of working reached its limit: more products and more orders meant more manual work too. They wanted a webshop connected directly to the ERP, so ordering runs on its own and the team has time left for the real work.

Webshop and ERP linked for real-time syncing

Together with Poolquip we built a webshop that makes ordering and managing straightforward. The platform is fully connected to Navision, their ERP system, and synchronises product data, prices and stock automatically and in real time. Whatever changes in the ERP shows up correctly in the webshop right away, without anyone retyping it. We deliberately chose stability and scalability, so the webshop grows along with Poolquip.

Less manual work, dealers who order for themselves

Since launch, the webshop has been the beating heart of sales at Poolquip. Dealers browse the range themselves, place orders and arrange returns, without the sales team stepping in. That saves the team hours each week that used to go into manual work, and dealers can order whenever it suits them. Behind the scenes everything runs reliably, and the webshop grows as Poolquip grows.
