Where the Story Begins

The Nederlandse Bachvereniging is an internationally renowned vocal and instrumental ensemble. It began in 1921 with a performance of Bach's St Matthew Passion in the Grote Kerk in Naarden, and grew into a professional group that keeps the work of Bach and his contemporaries alive. Drawing on a rich tradition, the Bachvereniging keeps looking for new ways to share that music, with loyal listeners and new generations alike.

A website that no longer matched the music

The existing website no longer reflected the quality and depth of the Bach Society's work. It didn't meet modern expectations for usability, visual appeal or storytelling. Visitors struggled to find information, and the experience lacked the inspiration needed to engage a younger audience. To strengthen its digital presence, the Bachvereniging needed a platform that could carry its musical legacy into a contemporary online experience.

A new website with calm, space and visual storytelling

We gave the website a new design, with the emphasis on clarity and visual storytelling. The design gives Bach's music and heritage room to breathe, within a calm, intuitive interface. A contemporary style and logical navigation bring visitors quickly to concerts, background stories and music. So the Bachvereniging presents its passion for Bach in an environment that feels timeless and modern at once.

There's now an interface that fits the organisation and the character of the music. Visitors find their way easily, in a fresh design with rich content about Bach and his work. The platform strengthens the bond with the existing audience and, at the same time, invites new generations to discover classical music.
